Breakroom Gaming Co publishes HookRush for Android (package name com.breakroomgamingco.hookrush). This policy explains the game's data practices and the support services we provide.
Ads and in-app purchases are disabled in this test build. Core gameplay works offline, and no player account is required. Privacy messaging may still contact Google when you select “18 or older.” The optional advertising and purchase services below apply when those features are enabled.
Data saved on your device
HookRush saves progress, settings, local best runs, cosmetic entitlements, playtest counts, and your selected age range on your device. The game does not provide player accounts, cloud saves, or an online leaderboard.
A playtest report contains gameplay counts. Copying the report does not send it to us; you choose whether to share it. We ask for an age range, not your birth date.
Privacy choices and optional services
Age range and privacy messages
HookRush is intended for teens and adults and is not directed at children under 13. Rewarded ads, when available, are limited to players who select “18 or older.” Selecting “Under 18,” “Prefer not to say,” or leaving the question unanswered keeps rewarded ads off. You can play without ads.
Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) communicates with Google to determine which privacy messages apply and to manage your choices. It stores the resulting privacy status on your device. This can happen after the adult age choice even while ads are disabled.
In the game, open Settings → About / Playtest Report → Privacy & Support to review your age range, view this policy, or contact us. An Ad Privacy Choices button appears when required by the provider. If privacy messages cannot load, you can continue playing without ads.
Rewarded advertising, when enabled
Rewarded ads use Unity LevelPlay with Unity Ads and ironSource Ads. These providers may process device, advertising, and other identifiers; IP-derived approximate location; device and app information; ad and app interactions; and diagnostics. They use this information to deliver and measure ads, operate and improve their services, and prevent fraud.
The game waits for a permitted privacy result before requesting ads. Its current integration requests the ad networks' restriction on sale or sharing for advertising. That setting does not mean the providers collect no data. Android also offers advertising-ID controls in its privacy settings.
Purchases, when enabled
Optional cosmetic purchases are processed by Google Play through Unity In-App Purchasing. Product, transaction, purchase-history, identifier, and technical information may be processed by Google and Unity to complete and restore purchases, operate their services, and analyze transactions. Breakroom Gaming Co does not receive your payment-card details through HookRush. Paid cosmetics provide no gameplay advantage.

Information you send us
If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you include, such as a bug description, device details, screenshot, or playtest report. We use it to respond, investigate problems, and improve the game. Our email service processes those messages to deliver and store them.
Please include only what is needed for your request. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or unrelated personal information.
YOUR DATA CONTROLS
Delete your data
HookRush has no player account to delete. You can remove local game data and ask us to delete information you have sent to us.
Remove data on your device
- Restart Profile clears earned game progress and local playtest counts. It preserves purchased cosmetic entitlements, control settings, and privacy choices.
- To remove local app data more fully, use Android's Settings → Apps → HookRush → Storage → Clear data (wording varies by device). This can permanently remove your progress and preferences. Uninstalling may also remove local data.
Request deletion from Breakroom Gaming Co
- Email breakroomgamingco@gmail.com with the subject HookRush data deletion request.
- Tell us which information you want removed, such as a support conversation or playtest report. When possible, write from the email address used to contact us originally.
- We may ask for enough information to locate the records and verify the request. You do not need to install the app or create an account.
We will handle requests for information we hold, including support emails and submitted reports. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect against fraud; if that applies, we will explain it in our response.
Clearing app data does not delete records held by Google or Unity or cancel a purchase. Their linked privacy policies explain how to request deletion of information they hold. Contact us if you need help identifying the relevant provider.
Email a deletion requestRetention and security
Local game data remains until it is reset or removed. We keep support correspondence for as long as needed to address the request and related obligations, subject to applicable deletion requests. Google and Unity determine retention for information they process under their own policies.
This website uses HTTPS to protect the connection between your browser and the site. Your local game data is stored within the app's device storage; protecting access to your device also helps protect that data. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
We have not added advertising or analytics scripts to this website. The hosting service may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and access logs, to deliver and secure the site.
